On the historic grounds of Grand Traverse Commons, Cottage 36 (Building 36, “Sunnyhill”) was the last of the large Victorian houselike “cottages” built at the former Traverse City State Hospital. Designed by area architect E.R.Prall, it is over 90 years old was built of whitish-yellowish brick from the Markham brickworks.
Now newly renovated 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments are available for rent as part of the refurbishing of this one of a kind community.
